By Chance

Well, hello there . It has certainly been a long time I ramble on this page of mine . To be honest, I truly miss those days where I have that few extra hours to spare and just write whenever I feel like it . I may not be an amazing writer or a deep thinker but being able to just type out and express definitely feels pretty good . Whether or not the content of the post is a beneficial one is another thing .

By chance, I got into this class with this bunch of people . Actually, I can't put it that way . I actually requested to be in this particular class after switching from a Pre Engineering class to this Pre Medicine class with the bunch of high school friends I'm comfortable with . Long story, and I think I'll do a post about it a little later on . It's different what I wrote back then and after 8 months of college, my point of view definitely changed .

Surprisingly enough, last year at this very moment I was at a whole different environment with a whole other group of friends . Different educators . Different morning routines .

And now , these people define the word " college " for me . Whenever I reflect back on this stage of life , it won't be complete without :

Kareshma, being oh-so-detailed about everything and all the silly eavesdropping moment;Jon, being bright orange and busy away with his blackberry and iPhone; Krystle, carrying tons and tons of SAT books and going over and over again about studying in the states; Joel, being awfully quiet these days and debating away with Grace; Grace, the very humble yet smartest in the whole class, 100% for Biology says it all; Jian Yong, being the tour guide during lunch and decides where should we eat; Terance, being the one answering all my silly questions I have; Kumuta, being the one who pretty much knows all the guys in college; Shiva, being the sunshine; Wai Keong, the active TayMun secretary who is very outspoken; Avisha, the most awesome assistant class rep anyone could ask for .

I'll probably continue the next table and the set of lecturers some other time because this had taken wayyy too long than I expected .

So yes, that's how I defined college right now . It will probably change in a few months but that's not important . The uncertainty of the future is what makes me climb out of my bed each morning and try to make tomorrow a better day .

:)

Aly .

P.S / If you ask me to choose between High School and College, I truly can't do it because they're different . Yet, I know one thing, if you're as lucky as I am, you'll thoroughly enjoy it and cherish the people you met along the way, by chance.
